Monday Morning Wrap Up

March 30, 2026 by Courtney 2 Comments

Good morning. I hope this Easter week finds you doing well. We are excited to have our girl back home and celebrate not only Eater, but her birthday. I think that has been one of the hardest aspects of having a child in college. . . not spending their actual birthday with them. But looking forward to an early celebration. Here is a recap of life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.

DORM FINDS ON SALE

dorm room

If you have a senior, graduation is just around the corner. You may be starting to think about dorm decor. We have an extensive list here (all things Riley used and loved). I noticed this blue and white comforter is on sale. It’s so pretty and gives Love Shack Fancy vibes without the price tag. If you are using it as the actual comforter, you will need a twin xl but if you are folding it at the end of the bed, a twin is great.

PENDANTS ON SALE

kitchen

I wish I could capture what the afternoon/evening light really looks like in here. It’s my favorite part of the day in our kitchen. And these pendants are on sale for the lowest I have seen.

JUST ENOUGH COOKIES

This is my go-to cookie recipe if I need to bring cookies to an event or just want a sweet treat to share with someone. It’s a small enough batch where you are not stuck in the kitchen forever and they always turn out soft and scrumptious.

SPRING IS HERE

We are in the 70s this week and so grateful. Spring is my favorite time of year. The pollen is still doing its thing so I’ll need to use this little machine again . . . but it’s wonderful for cleaning the outdoor furniture. We have had these outdoor lamps for years and love them. They give off the best warm ambiance at night. They transform the space into such a cozy spot.

DATE NIGHT

Hit up Culinary Dropout with some friends. It has a fun atmosphere and live music. I would recommend asking for the patio as inside can be quite noisy (hard to hear one another). You can walk across the way to Jeni’s Ice Cream for dessert.

HOMEGOODS FIND

I had not been to HomeGoods in months so it was fun to just wander around. I thought these were beautiful. Very realistic looking and already come with pretty planters.

HOLY WEEK

As we step into Holy Week I am focused on slowing down and reflection. Snapped this photo of our neighbor’s beautiful hydrangeas on our walk yesterday. So glorious.

CONSISTENCY

Happy to say I completed another 6 week session of Fit with Coco. I’m really proud that I have stayed true to my word of the year . . .consistency. Any time I want to throw in the towel or skip a day, it pops in my head and keeps me disciplined. In this post, I talked about then number one factor that has kept me on track.

spring sale

The Amazon Spring Sale event is still going on. So many great mark downs. If you are looking for graduation gifts for the graduation circuit (you know what I mean, moms) this silk pillowcase or this Nodpod are both fantastic options. My daughter uses both daily and the prices are great right now.

PRETTY SPRING DRESSES

These are all so beautiful for spring. I have my eye on the top green dress for graduation.

  • green midi dress ($100 off)
  • striped shirt dress
  • cream eyelet dress
  • green dress ($100 off)

There are more beautiful dresses and fun finds in this week’s Saturday Shopping post.

Is anyone else shocked that we are headed into the fourth month of 2026? This year is flying by. If you stumble upon a trick to slow it down, let me know. Looking forward to beginning my day with bible study. Always an encouraging way to start the week. Wishing you a wonderful Monday.

    Hi Courtney,
Happy Spring here in Texas we are in full bloom. I too love spring and my birthday is May 4 so it’s right around the corner. I’m making plans for the garden which is always a challenge due to our hot temperatures.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your Dark Chocolate and Date Bars. My husband made them for me last night and I wanted to eat the whole batch. My hubby is the cook in the family (I know I’m blessed) so I will have to share the cookie recipe from this post with him.
Bible study is the best way I know to slow down and the best way to start the day. Happy Easter to you and the family.

Oh that makes me so happy to hear. I love that your husband is the chef in the family. So fun. Spring birthdays are the best. Happy Easter to you and your family as well.
