Basic Crêpe Recipe


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups milk


  1. Combine flour and salt into a bowl; form a well and put slightly beaten eggs and melted butter into it. 

  2. Beat with a wire whip or blender to form a smooth paste. 

  3. Gradually add milk and beat until large bubbles form. 

  4. Let batter rest one hour so flour is absorbed. 

  5. Use a crêpe maker or pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot griddle. Cook two minutes, flip and cook the other side.
