Entertaining {A Polka Dot & Preppy Table}

Happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day. We loved hanging out as a family and really enjoyed a great weekend with both friends and family. My hubby and kiddos were very good to me. I even scored a hand made clay necklace in the shape of a tulip from my daughter. She knows me well! Last night we had the family over and I put the napkins from Anthropologie to good use. I ended up going with a colorful and preppy table where the napkins served as cheery chargers. The stripes and polka dots remind me of Kate Spade. Here is a peek before the evening started. polkadot … IMG_1105 … IMG_1106 … IMG_1113 … IMG_1133 … monogram   …   IMG_1160   I kept things simple with a vase of tulips {thanks, hubby} and roses from the yard. The monogram tags I created using Microsoft Publisher and the napkin white napkins were wrapped in a band of washi tape. The polka dot napkins {used as chargers} are from Anthroplogie and the striped tablecloth is from Ikea. I actually have plans to turn it into pillows for my daughter’s new room!   4. Love the combo of the stripes with the polka dots in the bright cheery colors. I'm with you, though. I could use another weekend 🙂
