For Mother’s Day my sister hosted a beautiful brunch. For those of you who don’t know about my sister yet, she is a force to be reckoned with and I am so blessed to have her as my business partner with Casey Grace Design. To say she is talented is a gross understatement. The day was really so special. It was so nice to be with our mom and families and to enjoy a beautiful sun kissed day. I wanted to share her stunning tablescape with you today. The neutral backdrop allows for her to infuse absolutely any color into the space. And with the French doors wide open to the backyard, there is plenty of natural light while dining.
The framed card on her buffet reads, “They lived and laughed and loved and left.” {James Joyce} I love how she used turquoise colored gems to add color to her little bud vases below.
……………………….. the menu Brunch was beyond scrumptious. The menu included a fresh berry medley, sundried tomato frittata and a roasted potato hash brown nest {beyond cute}.
And for dessert, my sister and her daughter made homemade crapes filled with a chocolate almond spread and fresh strawberries. Spoiled . . . yes, we were! And in case you missed the post about teaming up with my sister, you can read it here. Thank you to Kristin for such a beautiful and restful morning . . . and for letting me snap away. PS. . . the aqua plates are from Target and the Ikat runner is a shower curtain from World Market.
An ikat shower curtain?? What a great idea! The dining room is absolutely gorgeous. The two of you are going to make an amazing team and I look forward to your future.
Hope you had a great Mother's Day Courtney.
Beautiful table setting. The food looks super yummy too, and perfect for a brunch. I am envious of those french doors off the dining area!!
Courtney–this tablescape is beautiful. I love the turquoise—absolutely perfect. The neutral background helps it "pop" no doubt.

Gorgeous! I wanted to step right into the photos!
What a beautiful color. So clean.
Your table was beautiful! I love the color of the plates from Target. I recently bought some plates from there and put them as part of a collage on my dining room wall. They have such great colors and patterns of plates there! And the shower curtain as a table runner, brilliant!
Oh my gosh, I love, love, love this! I read this post early this morning on my iPhone and couldn't wait to get home and look at the pictures bigger and leave a comment! Did she paint that wall like Jones Design Co?? It's such a cool touch to add to the wall and the table is just beautiful- the aqua is gorgeous and there is always so much heart shining through in your family get-togethers. I always feel it. You can also bet I'm making a run to World Market soon! 🙂 I don't know your sis like I know you, but I know I'd like her:)
Beautiful colors!
I love all of the sweet little details and the fantastic color combination! The attention to detail is amazing!

This is beautiful! Courtney, can you tell me where I can buy a faux branch? Not even sure that's what they're called, but I love the one on the table with the tiny flowers on it. Thank you!
