We are in the middle of a major basement renovation and just chose sconces for the space. I have poured over so many options so I thought it would be fun to share 12 of my favorite lights. These are all so beautiful and a wide range of price points. Lighting can really make a space and each one of these is a lovely option. And as you look through them, keep in mind that the majority of them come in different finish options.
ONE
There is something about the shape of this shade and the reeded brass element that I just love.
TWO
Striped lamp shade. Say no more. Love the preppy look of this sconce.
THREE
The swoop, the shade . . . I am obsessed with all of it. If you are willing to splurge, this is gorgeous.
FOUR
I really wish I could use this sconce somewhere. We will have dark walls so it would get lost but the lines on this sconce are truly beautiful. Plus the brass detail. I also like the price point.
FIVE
My heart always gravitates towards the traditional. We have used this sconce before and love the look. Fantastic price point.
SIX
Picture lights add so much character and warmth to a space. This is such a classic look.
SEVEN
If you have the space for a double arm sconce, I think they add so much. Really pretty.
EIGHT
So feminine and pretty. Would love these on either side of a mirror in a bathroom or powder room.
NINE
Another striped option that comes in other finishes. We used a similar brass version in our kitchen on either side of our range hood.
TEN
The swoop and the wicker shade. . . so darn good.
ELEVEN
Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to use these in a bathroom. Especially in this polished nickel.
TWELVE
Last, but certainly not least, I love the pleated shade on this sconce. The subtle curve is really lovely. Reasonable price point, too.
I hope this helps if you are on the hunt. My next search will be to replace three boob lights in the area just outside of our basement. I will share what I find. You can see more of our project here.

I feel like lighting like this is like a great pair of earrings for an outfit. The outfit can look good without them, but the added touch of the earrings really makes it. I love #1.
