If you are anything like me, you are trying to somehow strike a balance between great design and all that comes with having children {namely their stuff and all they get in to}! Kirsten Krason over at 6th Street Design School has put together an entire series on good design with kids in mind. It will be a fantastic week. I have contributed a tiny bit, but can’t wait to see what all of the ladies have to say. I think it will be something we can all benefit from. So if you have some time, pop on in and enjoy the week! I also want to thank all of my new followers. It is wonderful to have you here.

dear thoughtful place,
i ran to my computer so i wouldn't forget my question…. how about a segment on all things kitchen related since you recently showed off your beautiful remodel. Do you have any organizational tips on organizing your pantry, pots and pans (and most maddening… pot lids), holiday servingware, tupperware, dish soap and cleaning supplies, etc. Any tips on junk drawers around the house? I have so many junk drawers, that I can't remember which houses what junk! Love the blog! 🙂
