Hi friends. How was your Valentine’s Day. Our day was great but the evening went a little downhill. Sugar overload caused some serious crankiness. When everyone couldn’t eat their dinner because it was too spicy (my fault) before heading out to baseball practice things got a little tense. LOL. We recovered well, but let’s just say it wasn’t all lollipops and hearts over here. Such is life, right?! Today is a new day! And I have one of my favorite outfits to share with you.

Spring can’t come soon enough. Today is actually 77 degrees so this is a perfect outfit. It’s comfortable and easy to wear. Casual but still pulled together. The blouse is light weight and is not designed to be fitted. That’s why I like pairing it with slim-fit pair of jeans.

I’ve always loved a good loafer but sometimes they are so clunky looking. The mule/loafer combination is perfect. It still looks feminine and pretty on the foot but has that preppy vibe I gravitate towards.

Flats Worth Checking Out

Those are all really cute styles. Have you seen that these are on sale for under $30?! Great reviews. I have a very similar pair from Nordstrom. Great deal.

I bought these jeans last year. They are made by Vigoss and no longer sold, but they came out with these and they are very similar. The fit is great and they have held up well. This is also a darling choice and they are under $50. As with any pair of distressed jeans you need to be careful putting them on. If you stick your leg in too quickly, your foot can go through the distressed part and rip it too much. I know. I speak from experience. It hasn’t happened with these but it’s just good to take your time putting them on. No need to be ruining any jeans!

OFF THE SHOULDER

I like this top because it stays put on me. No slipping down the arms. It has subtle white pinstripes which you can see in person. Super cute. The blouse is light weight and is not designed to be fitted. That’s why I like pairing it with a tight pair of jeans. I am wearing a small. It also comes in navy and crisp white. A neutral handbag will never go out of style. This one is $60. I also found this one with a sweet bow and a $60 pricepoint. Mine sold out at Nordstrom but I also found it here.

Really can’t say enough about these mules. I LOVE wearing them and the color goes with everything. Such a great neutral. It’s the flat that everyone asks where they are from. I have found them to be true to size and comfy from day one.

Added bonus! This top just went on sale for $20! What?! I bought the black! One of my all time favorite shirts ever. Ever.
