A Christmas Sneak Peek: Sparkly Tree

November 5, 2012 by Courtney 20 Comments

While most kiddos were decking their halls with pumpkins and scarecrows, we were trimming our tree! All I could think was how crazy our neighbors must think we are when they look in our window and see a tree up already! I was honored when Home Depot asked me to be a part of their holiday challenge. Here is a sneak peak of what we dreamed up. a thoughtful place sparkly tree   bird Home Depot Style Challenge To see all the details of this nature inspired tree you can head over to the Home Depot blog. Over there I give you the downlow on the DIY ornaments {all super easy} as well as the bucket used in lieu of the stand. You can also check out other bloggersโ€™ Christmas Creations at the bottom of my post over there. I think youโ€™ll find some amazing ideas.

This is so beautiful! I would love more info, sources, and even a tutorial for how you used the bucket instead of a traditional tree stand.

It's day after Thanksgiving every year because the husband would be bugging out if it was up before then! And how sweet is your little angel in that white dress??? Adore that!

Is the planter from Home Depot as well? Ballard Designs has something like this that I've been eyeballing for quite some time. Could you share where you purchased the bucket and explain the bracket system you used for us DIY'ers? Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜‰
