A Festive Christmas Table | And Giveaway

There’s no doubt I love to throw a party. It’s more just the idea of gathering around a table with good friends and good food that makes me so very happy. Some of my most cherished memories are from sitting around my parents table, dining al fresco at my sister’s house or hanging with dear friends on our patio for hours and hours. December is the perfect time of year to create a pretty table and enjoy the people we treasure the most. And while I love to set a pretty table and entertain, I keep things super simple. It really doesn’t take much to create a welcoming environment. This season, I used really pretty finds from Kirkland’s Be thinking about what you might like because I am giving away some shopping money. Tis the season! christmastable christmasjoy Burlap Joy Silverware Holder Set | Gold Charger Plate The Burlap Joy Silverware Holder Set comes in a set of six. It’s easy to slip the utensils in them or you could add a fresh sprig of rosemary. I like that they are small and easy to store once the holiday season is over {I am always thinking about storage!}. The Gold Charger Plate had me at hello. LOVE the texture they add. It’s another pattern on the table but goes with everything. christmascranberry Who doesn’t love a yummy cranberry cocktail at the holidays?  {Cranberry Ginger cocktail recipe coming soon!} If you are not up for serving alcohol, you can always fill the glasses with sparkling water and add cranberries for color. It adds so much to the table. The plaid runner is just a couple of yards of fabric folder over. New sewing necessary! christmaspitchers pitchers | small | medium | large I am smitten with these pitchers. I can use them year round and they are so charming. They have a farmhouse feel. I like using varied sizes so that the heights are all different. I simply filled them with boxwood that I had taken off of a wreath I was no longer using. The other greens on the table are two bundles from Trader Joes. I just unwrapped them and set them on the table. Done and done! christmasjar Glass Lanterns I had to have these Glass Lanterns when I saw them. I can use these year round, too and the possibilities are endless. I can’t wait to fill them with huge flower arrangements for a different gathering. For this table I just filled them half way with ornaments. Also very simple and can be done with what you have on hand. I set a plaid pillow on each {I made with the fabric last year} to pull the look together. christmaschargers christmasplates I am usually a less is more kind of girl, but I loved filling this table with greenery. The fresh greens are so fragrant and give the table such a warm vibe. Nothing like getting dressed up and inviting friends and family to just sit, sip and savor. The traditional look I went with is in keeping with the rest of our holiday décor this year. I also thought this gold deer head was adorable. I love how they look with a cute wreath or scarf hanging from them.   43. I'd be a happy guest at that lovely table! Can boxwood be used year round? I have so many pine wreathes but they eventually are too wintery for Spring. Also, do you know where I could purchase boxwood wreathes in the future that are not so costly?
