I am constantly being reminded about how it’s the very little things in life that truly make us rejoice and be glad. Well, a not so little thing has made us ridiculously giddy. We finally bought a coffee table. You would think this would be no big deal, but I can’t tell you how many times my husband and I have said, “I feel like a grown up now!” in the last week. We loved our little ottoman but were longing for a larger coffee table. Something with a hard surface. We love to entertain and so wanted a spot to rest appetizers and drinks. Not to mention, mama has a brand new surface to style. Oh, happy day! I am getting the itch to switch up a few things in this room so I didn’t want to splurge on anything too crazy. The price was right on this! coffee table It’s taken a bit to get used to not having a white coffee table, but I am seriously so excited to have all of this space and room to spread out when we play games, entertain or put together puzzles. I have such great memories of doing all of those things around our coffee table growing up. While it may not seem like that big of deal, this little baby has made us oddly giddy and thankful. We are no longer fighting over who gets to set down their coffee on the tiny piece of real estate we used to have. And it’s perfect timing with the holidays. I actually ordered the table from my sofa while sick and it came fairly quickly. My kind of shopping. Speaking of shopping, how are you doing with yours? If you are in need of ideas, you are welcome to check out my gift guides. And here are some sales going on this week. C. Wonder | extra 30% off | loving this and this Nordstrom | 40% off still going strong | these are on sale and so is my fur vest Kate Spade | 25% off The good news is that the house is pretty much decorated. This is a super fun week to follow along with the Holiday Home Tours hosted by my dear friend Chris over at Just a Girl. Did you know Chris is the reason I wanted to start a blog? I owe her so much for inspiring me. The line up of bloggers is impressive. I had to beg, borrow, and steal to be included. Grab a hot cocoa and enjoy the inspiration.

I love your coffee table!! Really love it. We always played games and worked on puzzles on our coffee table, too, growing up. So many fun memories of special family time. Your photos are beautiful Courtney.

The coffee table looks nice, but what I really want to know is where did you get those Christmasy pillows in the background?! So cute!

i really like the cameron coffee table, but the metal detailing on yours looks much darker than in the pictures on world market's website. is it close to a black color or more of a gray? thanks!
