This post and the series is brought to you by MSN for Microsoft. Over the last couple of months it has been fun sharing some of my fast ideas with you. We kicked off the series with four fast and fresh décor ideas for spring. One of my favorites is just using beautiful fruit around the house. It doesn’t get any easier or faster! If you missed any of the other spring décor ideas you can go here to check them out. Then it was on to sharing how we work smarter and not harder around here. Simple ideas for in and around your home this spring and summer. The reader favorite from that post was definitely the outdoor tub. You can click on the photo below to read more details about working smarter not harder. Lastly, I showed you an easy way to turn an old frame into a lovely tray for your home. You can use just about any frame and the look is easy to transform. Details on how to do it are here. ……………. a busy morning here … I have so enjoyed working with MSN to show you these quick and easy ideas. We thought it would be fun to let you take a peek inside our home on a busy morning. So if you are nosy like I am and want to see a little bit of our hectic day, click on the video below! I rent so there isn't a lot I can actually "do" to change my flat. But, I love these simple ideas! They are really going to brighten up my place! I just bought a cool antique white bowl and some clementine's yesterday! I am all about the toys bin for outdoors. Lifesaver!
MSN is part of my morning. I love to just click through the news and it gives me a little time for myself to get ready in the morning.

Loved this! Everyone else here is so right, you are a total natural on camera. And Riley giggling was the best 🙂

I agree with everything already said AND you have incredible lovely composure. My goodness, girl–you have so many gifts. Little Sunshiney Riley is too cute with the giggles and Grady is a mini me of his daddy. I'm a total Mac person, but you made me rethink my choices toward MSN…love seeing you in "person" –you sound just like I would imagine you to be–calm, gracious and confident. I especially loved seeing your gallery wall on the stairs and the chalkboard wall. Those were the two posts that totally hooked me on your blog. There just aren't enough words to say how much I love this little video. xox

I like using fruit for décor as well, we really enjoy using lemons. Lemon with water is also simple and perfect for summer. It is really a good idea to just use things which you already have like the tub. The outdoor tub also works for pet toys, as they can pile up in a hurry.
