Hello, all! I am back from vacation. We spent four days with dear friends up in Big Bear. This is the fourth year that our families have traveled to the lake together. This time we extended our stay until Tuesday and I can honestly say it was a magical vacation. I can’t wait to share some photos with you. While there, the women of course hopped on the topic of fashion and how we are so excited for fall and for sweater weather. Not to mention being able to whip out our boots and booties. The look below has been one of my favorites. I had a summer version of it in my San Francisco Street Style post and have adapted it for fall. I am just loving the stripes mixed with blush combination. jacket | tee | leggings | bag | booties | scarf It’s key to keep things cozy and comfy as we transition into fall. I know I will be running carpool and getting back into the swing of things with soccer practices, school events and playing taxi driver. Leggings with some cute booties work great when you want to feel pulled together. The scarf is my go-to which you all know by know. That scarf above is proving to be one of my very favorites ever. I wore it a few times up in Big Bear. leggings | scarf How cute is this look? I love the feminine blush color mixed with the stripes. I think you’ll be seeing a lot of this.

And those wedge boots with the buckle are crazy adorable. The booties with the ruffle would be so darling with tights and a skirt. Just saying. So it’s our very last day of summer! Don’t know whether to cry or celebrate. While we are all ready to get back into a routine, I hate to say goodbye to the lazy days of summer. Today we will be sorting schools supplies and making our first day of school rainbow cake! It has become quite the tradition around here! Enjoy your day. I love scarves as well, they are easy to mix with other pieces of your wardrobe and immediately make any outfit more put together, plus they keep you warm.
For the boots, I love the Nala booties from Nordstrom, cute and feminine. I could totally imagine wearing them with a pencil skit and a nice cashmere sweater. Thank you for sharing!

You look so cute in your leggings! I agree with you…the stripes and blush is a pretty combination. I love those ruffle booties! I'm torn between the fog suede and the black suede. I like both. Wishing your kids a happy first day of school tomorrow.
