Happy Monday, everyone! What a great fall weekend. We finally are experiencing cooler temps and enjoyed a weekend packed with soccer, birthday celebrations, block parties, and a few blog projects. Anyone who knows me knows that I love to travel. I was fortunate to travel to Germany by myself when I was a freshman in high school. I spent a summer over there with what would become dear family friends of ours. Ever since that summer, a part of me is always wanting to pack a bag and see what’s out there. I was super excited when Sole Society contacted me about a weekender bag. With two small children, my husband and I can usually only get away for a night or two when we sneak off. I think I picked the perfect bag for our next weekend away. 
So what’s in my bag when I travel? Almost always the same items! I pack a large scarf {big enough to keep me warm like a blanket on the airplane}, an easy to pack dress, a great pair of heels for going out at night, a new book, a little bit of arm candy, a comfy cardigan, and a second pair of jeans. Does any of that sound familiar? I have found that the scarf and accessories are the biggest key to keeping my bag light and my outfits pulled together.

I am head over heels for these booties. They are so crazy comfortable and the little gold detail makes them stand out from the crowd. I also appreciate how soft they are. The weekender bag had me at striped lining and separate zippered compartment. I agree with the reviews that the bag needs to air our for a bit.

I am just so excited that my shoes will no longer need to be mixed in with my clothes! That’s a genius design move. Now I just need to plan my next trip! So what’s in your bag when you travel?

Love the striped interior and separate section for shoes. I was not familiar with this company and checked out their website. So many cute things at good prices plus many of their shoes come in small sizes, a big issue for me.
