Amazon July Finds

Good morning. Our guest room has officially been taken over by college dorm room prep. I think we are in the home stretch of all that she needs (famous last words) and wanted to share a few key finds and ideas. Happy to share July Amazon finds that we continue to love.

LAUNDRY HACK

If you have a daughter going off to college (not sure this would apply to the boys) who likes to line dry or lay a few things flat, this hack is for you. Riley plans to do laundry when she can be at class while things are drying. Space is crazy limited in her room so she will take this rack (we already had) and this waterproof mattress cover. I ordered this cover and cut the fitted portion off of it. The result is essentially a drying mat she can lay on top of her bed. That way she can place any of the things she wants to lay flat to dry. It rolls up and tucks away without taking up too much space.

We also bought these mesh bags for her to wash her delicates.

These shower shoes are on their way. Perfect for communal bathrooms. Right of passage, if you ask me! I had one for four years. This is the shower caddy we went with because of the design (long strap, mesh, and nice and tall).

These pillows are an incredible deal right now. Whether you need them for a college student or just to refresh the pillows in your own home. If you have had your pillows far too long, they could be causing congestion or allergies. Right now they are $32 and you can apply a 30% off coupon. Such a steal.

I can’t believe the difference a satin pillow case makes. I didn’t believe the hype until I tried one. My hair is so much better each morning (holds curl longer) and no face wrinkles. And at this age, that’s a major concern. I am a Kisch girl for life now. Riley is taking one to school, too.

I have never seen the Green Machine priced this low. It’s now $85. We LOVE this for our outdoor cushions and never worry about white pillows because of this. We also really love it for spot cleaning rugs. And there is something so satisfying about cleaning the furniture and seeing the water afterwards. It really does remove so much dust and dirt.

ALUMINUM FREE

I almost hate to recommend this aluminum free deodorant because it’s pricey. Having aluminum free is very important to me and I have tried so many. I was using Lume which I liked (but they changed formulas) and it stopped working for me. Native does not work for my either. I am a girl who sweats and needs good protection. This is incredible. I stay dry, even during tough workouts, and it lasts all day. Is it more than I want to spend, yes, but I need something that works well. If you are in my same boat, I hope this is helpful.

FASHION FINDS

This was a fun July find. I’ve been wearing this as a cardigan or over my shoulders lately. Such a classic look.

The strapless top is really good, ladies. You don’t need a bra as the fabric is nice and thick. It comes in lots of different colors. My barrel pants are from here (I’ve worn them so much) but these found on Amazon are a similar look. The straw clutch was another welcome addition to my wardrobe. It’s all I’ve used for summer nights.

I have a crush on this sweater vest. I think it’s adorable but the price is high. I found another option from Amazon below.

This version is $20 and really cute. It gives a similar look without blowing the budget.

FOR THE HOME

I just printed a few more photos and add them to this gold and glass box we have. This has continued to bring us so much joy. I LOVE having it out on our table. Was thinking it would be sweet for a college kid, too. We use this printer (now 30% off). Also a great going away gift for a college aged student.

We love these syrup jars. We used them in our rental. They come with so many label options. Just a fun way to elevate your coffee space and make it feel special.

You also can’t beat the price on these striped pillow covers. They are 2 for $18!!! Definitely invest in your insert (go 2″ larger than the cover) but there are amazing deals on covers. If you have a good insert, it makes all pillows look high end.

The faux hydrangeas are another love of mine. I just ordered them in blue for Riley’s dorm room.

This is another home run pillow cover. It’s $18 and beautiful. It definitely looks high end.

Right now I have this navy floral pillow in our living room. It works so well in so many rooms.
