Growing up, one of my fondest memories was having dinner together. Yes, some days sports took center stage or school activities, but gathering around the table was a priority. We would talk about anything and everything. If we didn’t know the answer to something my dad would get up and pull the black and gold encyclopedia from the nearby bookcase (dating myself, for sure).

CLASSIC PIECES
Whether you love to host or enjoy setting a table for your own family, there is something about a pretty tablecloth and napkins that can change the whole feel. Our days have been incredibly hot, but our nights are cooling off which means we try to eat out here as much as possible. I’ve been trying to set a pretty table once a week. What I love it is that when I do this, the family tends to linger at the table much longer. It’s almost like a subtle cue that says, “Let’s unwind and relax together.” And the conversations are always priceless.
STRIPES FOREVER
These striped napkins are wonderful. They are a great size and weight and come in a few different colors. I love to gift a set of pretty napkins to friends. They make for a perfect hostess gift.
Where are all of my moms of teens? Can we talk about the missing silverware?! How in the world is this such a universal issue? We have not purchased a complete set of flatware since our wedding and we were down to bare bones. So many missing forks and spoons.
We have been wanting to do this for quite some time. We finally replaced our original set (at least what was left of it) and are so happy we did. This flatware is really pretty and a lovely weight. My husband and I are both picky and we really like this one.
We now have two sets of vintage inspired glasses that we keep on our open shelves. I love the look and feel and they elevate the table.
Hands down, one of my favorite purchases as of late. This tablecloth is so pretty. I am in love with the ruffle and the natural look. We always just carry our dining chairs outside when we want to eat on the deck. These have been great for a couple of years now. They are really pretty in white, too.

The vase gets five stars from me. If you are looking for a large statement vase (great on an island or buffet) this one is beautiful. A fantastic size and a nice neutral feel.
I was thinking of having my girlfriends over for a back to school dinner and catch up session. I plan to use this same setup. Any time I can dedicate to real conversation with the people I love, I am in.

Are the plates available? I am looking to replace the ones that we have. Along with the silverware, dishes seem to be breaking and my supply is dwindling!
