Bake Shoppe Party: Invitations

April 10, 2012 by Courtney 18 Comments

Spring marks party city over here! We are jumping straight from Easter into our daughter’s sixth birthday party celebration. She requested a cake party. You can find darling inspiration for a Cake Boss party right here. I was actually inspired by a dear friend of mine who threw her daughter a similar soiree. Thanks, Candace! We will be having just a handful of girls over to put their creativity to the test. They will enjoy decorating their own mini cakes and will be brining them home to enjoy with their families. I am sharing the invites today. …………………. .bake shoppe IMG_8600 I discovered this darling piece of scrapbook paper at a local Timeless Treasures store. I didn’t even know these existed. They sell pages that include super cute punch outs. I picked up one of those and a couple pieces of striped paper and we were all set. IMG_8592 I used Microsoft Publisher to type up the invitation information. With spray adhesive and a tiny puffy sticker under the cake punch out, we were good to go. IMG_8594 The back of the paper has these cute pennants. IMG_8601IMG_8602 ………………….……. four styles Each girl will receive a slightly different invitation, but they all drive home the bake shoppe theme. IMG_8606IMG_8609IMG_8612IMG_8613 I have leftover punch outs that I can add to the party décor. IMG_8615 IMG_8595 I have one very excited almost six year old around here. I will be back soon to show you the aprons and baker’s hats the sweet ones will be receiving.

Soooo adorable…already! I know you have more up your sleeve to share. Please do! My daughter turns NINE [can you hear my gasp?] in May. She would love this idea. She looooooves to bake…and is good! I have the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. All kinds of stuff I could do, if I just get myself in gear. 😉
    Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂
