I wish I could say that I have some fabulous project to show you . . . but alas the weekend was spent relaxing and enjoying family. I happened to share my birthday with Father’s day this year, so we definitely had a lot of celebrating going on.
I had to show you this darling flower arrangement that my brother and sister in law sent me. It was such a cute way to kick off the birthday . . . nothing says party like margarita flowers! 
And these pink peonies definitely brought a smile to my face 
My sweet husband took me out for sushi on Saturday night and then we spent Sunday evening with family at my sister’s house. As always, she had a fantastic party complete with yummy treats. 
And thank you to my mom for making one of my favorite desserts! 
One of the highlights was definitely watching daddy teach our little man how to play badminton. It was priceless. He is quite the determined little thing! 
It was a rare weekend where we did nothing on “the list!” We simply spent time together, snuck in a date night by the beach, and enjoyed being together. And a huge thank you to my hubby for making my birthday celebration so special. I hope you all had a great Father’s Day weekend. I will be back tomorrow with Take 5 Tuesday!!!! Can’t wait to share more simple and quick projects with you. Just in time for summer!

Is that Fruit Pizza?? (I don't know if that's what other people call it, but that's what I call it!… on a pastry-type dough, with cream cheese on the bottom, layered with fruit and covered in a clear syrup-y sauce! Mmmmm) Haven't had that in forever!
