My new favorite prints are now hanging on my wall! I am so excited. If you missed my post earlier this week, I let you know about a great site where you can print gorgeous botanical prints for free. They are now happy as can be in my dining room. And what I love most is that this space is still staying nice and neutral. I want to be able to infuse any jolt of color depending on my mood or season. These prints stay neutral while adding some interest to the wall.
{Ignore the non planted plants in the courtyard . . . oops!}
And I was just testing out a new runner I picked up at World Market. This is exactly why I like keeping this space neutral. It’s fun to add a runner like this and it’s not competing with anything else in the room. {of course I still have to redo my dining room chairs but I haven’t had the time yet!}
I picked up the frames at Wal-Mart. I sprang for the $12 frames as my artwork was free and I wasn’t up for matting my own pictures this time. Opening the backs and popping these suckers in was quite nice. I had originally planned to hang them in my living room, but they just weren’t working. The balance was off and I knew I had to move them to a different spot.
And I have a very special delivery that is on it’s way. Here is a hint. It rhymes with pandalier. Once that arrives it will be time to roll up my sleeves and get working on the chairs. Sharing these free prints with The Shabby Nest, Chic on a Shoestring Decorating, Just a Girl
That looks fabulous!!!
That space looks great! LOVE the new runner too…I have been looking for one too-I may have to check out World Market 🙂
I can't believe those were free! They look great!
They look great! In the first picture, it looks as if your pass through window is a mirror. Can't wait to see the new chandy. I saw that table runner at WM yesterday. The print is perfect for spring. I am loving our more neutral dining room for the same reasons.
How pretty! I love how the prints play off the natural elements outside too (potted or not). 😉
STUNNING! They look fantastic…. and I am so excited to see what you come up with for the light 🙂
ps.. the runner is good, warm colors for summer.
They are PERFECT for that space!
They turned out great!! I've printed mine–now just need frames! Yay–this makes me want to hurry up and finish. Can't wait to find out what you are getting that rhymes with pandelier….haha. : )
Yeah, I thought they were going in the living room, but they are just perfect here! The size is great for the wall and look so good with the frames you chose! You just printed those with your home color printer?? The colors are great!
Those prints look like they were made for that spot in the dining room! The runner is really pretty. I love all the color.
I'm really loving your dining room! I have to stop by World Market and pick up some pretty Spring table linens.
Ooh a new light is on the way. Exciting! Love those prints – botanical & free is perfect in my book. Your dining room is coming together so nicely!
The botanicals look fantastic! I adore them. It is so fun to have a neutral space to change and change and change again!
They are perfect in your dining room!
Those are perfect for your dining room and I think that wall was made for them! Your dining room is beautiful, Courtney. You've done a lovely job. I can't wait to see your chandelier!
Looks freakin' amazing. You've got serious decorating skillz!

Perfect! I knew they would be great!! And can we talk about the beauty of your table runner?? Love.
They're so cute! I love the prints and the runner. Can't wait to see the chandelier all hung up!!!
Love the botanical prints. I am thinking about adding some to my living room. The runner is a great find!
Thanks for all of the sweet comments. World Market has some really great prints right now. So fun for summer and the warmer months.
Would you happen to remember the name of the paint color of the room. We need to get our house ready to rent. I'm looking for some universally pretty with lots of white trim and detailing. Thanks
Hi L.R. the paint color is cochise by Dunn Edwards. Good luck with the process.
These prints are so great! Can't wait to see the new light fixture!! Fun stuff!
Wow — those look amazing! And crazy what a huge difference in the room they make!
And I'd have never guess walmart frames!
I'm racking my brain for words that rhyme with pandelier…i've got nothing. But can't wait to see. 🙂
It looks like they were made for that space! Perfect!
These look great! And I eye spy a vase from Crate and Barrel that I also have as well. Thanks as always for the great inspiration.

Those look INCREDIBLE! What a perfect fit there on that wall. I hope you will share this at my VIP party today… http://designergarden.blogspot.com/2011/04/vip-party-11.html
Your prints look really great! Seems the space was created just for those.
Ok…so I became so excited when I stumbled upon your blog for the first time the other day, and I was even more excited when I saw I could get FREE botanical prints. I've been wanting some, but I haven't had the time OR the money to get any. As a teacher, you seem to have too much month at the end of the money! Ha!
Now, I'm even happier to know that I can go to the trusty ole Wal-Mart to pick up some matted frames! When you come from a VERY small town and the best thing you have is a Wal-Mart, it's what you depend on.
Thanks for the tips and sorry for such a long comment!
The botanicals look wonderful! I just love your dining room. What is the paint color you used on the walls? I agree with your idea of keeping things neutral so you can change the accessories easier. My dining room is red and I have been thinking about going neutral for awhile. I am also exciting about that free website! Thanks for the tip!
I love the free botanicals! They look like they've always been there and that's where they belong. I'm also in love with the colorful table runner! I'm your newest follower. Stop by and visit my blog anytime – I'd love to have you!

Just stumbled upon your blog through pinterest. I am doing a little post on botanical prints and hope you don't mind if I snag your finished picture. Also going to spread the word about the free downloads. Thanks for the info:) I'm so excited about it!
Your prints are beautiful. I ordered some prints online to create my own gallery wall. Awe shucks, I wish I had seen your free online source beforehand.
