I hope you all enjoyed a really wonderful Easter weekend with family and friends. I have to gush over my sister’s table today. There are so many amazing DIY ideas that you can use for spring or summer. She always creates such a beautiful atmosphere and yesterday was no exception. Kristin used bright orange, pink, yellow, and green to create a happy and whimsical table. The stripe runner set the stage for the vibrant pops of color. While this runner is no longer sold, you could easily create a similar look with washi tape on a bright white runner. The orange and pink flowers remind me of Riley’s new closet! Can we talk about he hanging paper eggs for a moment? So creative. Using different patterns of scrapbook paper, the paper strips are connected at the top and the bottom and when they hang they create the most gorgeous egg shape. Kristin connected the strips on the top and the bottom with a brad and they are hung with fishing line from the chandelier. Honestly, this is one of the cutest ideas I have seen in a long time. The lemon drops are a cute touch to host the brightly colored candles. This would be so cute for a rainbow themed party or for an outdoor summer party, too. You’ve really set the scene when even the colored eggs are dyed to match the table. These were resting on the buffet next to the dining room table. Simple paint chips made the most darling napkin rings. She punched holes in them and tied them with contrasting ribbon. Each guest had their name printed on a paint chip with white chalkboard marker. With so many bright and beautiful ideas, I had to share. Maybe you can borrow an idea or two for an upcoming spring or summer soiree. I will be back tomorrow to show you some fast and fresh ideas I have to bring a touch of spring into your home. enjoy your day!

What a gorgeous table… I am so jealous of your and your sister's creativity and craftiness. I thought the neutral table last year couldn't be topped but this is amazing!

Whether a great idea to use a paint chip to create a napkin ring. I have seen so many paint chip crafts lately…haven't tried any yet, though. My sister hosted Easter, too 🙂

All my favorite colors in one tablescape!! What a beautiful, peaceful and heavenly setting for your Easter together. We had our kids and grandkids here for the day which was wonderful (and all too brief) ~~my grandaughter and I made your paint chip egg garland together and I sent it home with here. And now I will start planning the next get together with this beautiful setting in my mind–you and your sister are amazing in your wonderful ideas. Happy Spring!!

I love the hanging eggs! Might try to make ball shaped ones for my daughter's 1st birthday confetti party. Definitely a new spin on the poms or paper lanterns.
