Spring is in the air over here! I am determined to give Easter it’s time in the limelight this year. The kids love when I decorate the mantel and it’s been quite some time since we changed it up. I only spent $5 on this mantel plus some pretty fresh tulips. I was inspired by the colors of the sweet bunny banner. 
Isn’t this banner darling? I found it at Target. My dear friend, Natasha, has one hanging in her home, too. And guess what? It’s only $5. You can not beat that. There is no way I would make it for that. The sweet scalloped trim and stitched bunnies would take some serious time. 
The only thing I did was add a fluffy white cotton tail to each little bunny. I think they look even happier with their white tails. I dab of hot glue and some cotton balls did the trick. 
I took my daughter’s Crayola water colors and used each color to write out “He is risen” on a piece of white cardstock. I love how it draws out all of the colors of the bunnies. 
If you are looking for the bunny banner in store, it is with all of the Easter décor {plates, napkins, etc}. or you can scoop it up here online. I was actually really impressed with some of the cute Easter décor at Target this year. I rounded up a few finds to show you below. I know our stores sell out quickly so you may want to make a Target run sooner than later. Or maybe you’ll want to DIY your own!

I'm trying to savor the fact that they still love the little things. G kills me. He'll come home from school and notice something I've done and say, "Looks pretty, mommy!" Enjoy your weekend too. Will be a hot one here!!!
