Whether it’s fashion or interiors, my eye is drawn to classic style. I love the timeless elements of both. Talking all about that today. Happy to be sharing these classic style finds.
I honestly can’t get over this incredible space designed by Sean Anderson. Every ounce of it is classic and beautiful. There is not question I am drawn to a classic, traditional style and crave that in my wardrobe, too.
I’ve been trying to really pair down my closet. The problem is that I have edited so much but haven’t added pieces back in. I am trying to be very selective and intentional. Maybe because I am getting older, but I keep flashing back to my mom’s style. While I didn’t really appreciate it at the time, her style was timeless and classic. Think wool coats, rich brown loafers, and beautiful dresses. And all things I would love to wear today.
I’ve rounded up some timeless pieces that have recently caught my eye. Are you feeling more classic these days? Would love to know.
CLASSIC TRENCH
Not only do I love a great trench, but the beautiful lining does it for me.
My mom’s trench coat stood the test of time. If you invest in one, be sure it is classic like this one. And if you need a classic white t-shirt for layering, I love this one from Amazon. The two-toned loafers can be found here.
Looking for a good wide leg jean? These are on sale. Also really like this light wash pair.
There’s no denying this is darling. Maybe not as practical as a khaki trench but this is so fun!
CLASSIC CORDUROY
I will forever love corduroy paired with a black turtleneck. These are $60!
A great way to up your game is cashmere. This top is under $50.
BASIC BLACK
My most worn coat is by far my black peacoat. I reach for it almost daily. Thrown on with a scarf it looks great if dressed up or elevates a sweatsuit. I truly wear mine all the time.
FINALLY FOUND!
I have a black handbag that is so similar (just not woven) and I LOVE it. I carry it every day. I has the option of over the shoulder or crossbody like this one. Highly recommend a handbag like this. It’s the most versatile and goes with everything.
This is another favorite style of mine. I think a quilted bag with a gold chain looks great with every outfit. It comes in many colors but I love this one and the black.
The last time I shared this pretty blouse I heard from a handful of you that love it. You all commented on the pretty packaging as well. Such a gorgeous blouse.
LOAFERS
These beautiful loafers are a splurge but will never go out of style (they are marked down a bit). I bought these last year for $35 and truly love them. A nice option if you aren’t ready to invest.
These loafers are so beautiful. Love the tassel detail. This Amazon pair is under $40
Anyone else wanting to pair down the closet and stick to the classics? Wishing you a wonderful day. I have some annual appointments to knock out today and fit in my workout. Always appreciate you being here.
