Client Bedroom Reveal

August 10, 2011 by Courtney 22 Comments

Do you remember my client, Erica who wanted her daughters to have a special room? Well, I must say she is the most dedicated and speedy mommy around. Once she received her inspiration board and sources she jumped into action and transformed her daughters’ space. Here is a darling pennant she made for above their closet. IMG_3505 t h e   b e f o r e I know we all love a great before and after, so here we go erica_before1 Erica wanted to keep the furniture, but give the room an overall more pulled together look. She had recently purchased bedding so I built the design around it. erica_before2 t he   d e s i g n Girls' Bedroom   IMG_3495IMG_3497 The memory boards were a great find from Hobby Lobby! IMG_3505 IMG_3499 (1) IMG_3502 IMG_3500 (1) IMG_3500 I always believe we should be surrounded by meaningful art. Here, Erica made prints that are special thoughts for her two daughters. One More Before erica_before1   and after IMG_3503 And here is the room with the addition of drapes in a bold and fun print. IMG_3507IMG_3510IMG_3513IMG_3514 The scroll fabric was wrapped around the lamp shades to give them a more custom look IMG_3516 IMG_3515IMG_3517 IMG_3518 Thank you so much for sharing your daughters’ room, Erica. You did a fantastic job and I loved working with you.

WOW! Love the new room. The curtains make it! And the stripes on the wall…so awesome. Isn't it fun working with a client who's down to paint stripes, the bed and the dresser? Crafty! (:

Erica (the client) here – thanks for all the great words of encouragement. We busted our buns to get this done in under a week, so it's nice to hear great feedback! Courtney is AMAZING! Once I recover I want to keep moving on to other rooms of my house with her help. She "listened" to me so well and knew EXACTLY how to create just what the girls & I wanted. They LOVE the room. I think she saved me tons of time & money by keeping me from buying things I did not need & she was AMAZING about returning emails as I had questions. I just loved working with her!
