Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a great weekend. I traveled to Dallas for a work conference and it was quite the whirlwind. I learned so much and enjoyed seeing so many talented bloggers. And being away from the family also makes coming home that much sweeter. I really missed the sweet faces of my babies and of course my hubby. Because I spent all of yesterday loving on my family, I decided to do a quick recap via phone photos.
Megan has been a friend for years now and I always feel so lucky and blessed when I get to spend time with her. It’s like we can’t get in enough conversation.
dress {so comfy to wear. I am wearing a size small}
Pretty much in love with this dress. I think the back makes it even more fun. And you can still wear a normal bra with it. Huge plus. I plan to wear this for summer date nights and a wedding we have coming up. So on Friday night we got all dressed up and headed out to a beautiful party . . . which we were immediately evacuated from due to a crazy thunderstorm. You should have seen 200 bloggers in heels being evacuated from a tent in the torrential downpour. Had someone video taped it it may be a contender for America’s Funniest Home Videos.
Ashley {Fancy Ashley} | Megan {Honey We’re Home} Cassie {Hi Sugarplum} | Carly {C.Style}
We still made the best of it and spent time catching up with old friends and getting to know new friends. Such a talented and inspiring group of women. I so loved meeting Ashley and Carly for the first time. Such talents.
Had a wonderful time getting to know Veronika {Veronika’s Blushing}. She brought her adorable daughter along so it was so much fun seeing a her toddle around. It made me miss my babies even more!
The venue really was a fantastic spot for a conference. It doesn’t get any lovelier.
white halter top | purple skirt
And this sweet and beautiful girl was such a blast. I have been reading Caycee’s blog for years and I knew we would get along so well. She is such a bright light.
white halter top | purple skirt
Natalie is pure kindness. What a beautiful mama. She honestly should be a supermodel. But beyond her beauty, she is as real as they come and I loved meeting her. I am a huge fan of this purple skirt and halter combination. The skirt runs large. I bought a size zero and a size medium in the top.

Mallory from Charming In Charlotte is one of those people that I feel like I have known for years. She is just darling and I so enjoyed hanging out with her. I just wished she lived closer! Her home and style are flawless.
And that’s a wrap. I could go on and on but wanted to stick to the highlights! Thanks for letting me share. Hopefully you found some new blogs to go take a look at!
When I walked into our master bedroom, this was here! What?! I had mentioned one time that I love these and would love to have one. The hubby made one for me as an early Mother’s Day gift. He even styled it. My jaw dropped. I was so touched. I will share details in another post soon. And update: Gigi New York has free personalization on their gorgeous leather numbers today and tomorrow. You can see my favorites here, here, and here. I love the idea of giving them as gifts, too.
Wishing you a wonderful Monday. I pretty much dropped my bags at the door and will be spending the day unpacking and getting caught up. See you back here tomorrow!
