Dreamy Kitchens

September 13, 2010 by Courtney 5 Comments

These are dreamy, aren’t they!

I could pour over pictures of beautiful kitchens all day long. I have always been in love with a white kitchen. There is something about it that makes me want to pour a glass of iced cold lemonade and whip up a new recipe (which would of course entail me actually cooking!). They are just so fresh and clean looking. We did a bit of a face lift to our little cozy kitchen and these pictures made me wish we had a much larger budget. We managed to borrow a few ideas without going nuts. Will post a couple pictures later. In the meantime, House Beautiful always pulls through with inspiration. Enjoy!

I love the high-tech range/oven. I'd be in heaven with just that! You know I love to cook!

In most kitchens, the wood stove radiates heat and provides a surface for "holding" food, like a giant warming tray. The actual cooking usually takes place on a more efficient, and more energy-conscious, gas burner.
