Fashion | Swim Style for Him

Thank you for all of the sweet comments on our front porch refresh. It’s fun to be feeling the summer vibe. I am so ready. Although check in with me once the children are home 24/7 all day, every day! It’s always so magical until the arguing ensues. So I suppose I should try to be as productive as I can now. When we returned from Bora Bora, I showed you much of what I wore on the trip. Well, now it’s the hubs turn! I am still trying to convince him to do a DIY post on the garment rack he made for me. May take more convincing than I thought. I did, however, convince him to let me share about his vacation wardrobe picks. At let me preface this by saying he speaks to the everyman. . . he literally took one pair of shoes on vacation. . . flip flops. That was it. It was pretty funny when the concierge told us that you needed to wear real shoes to dinner. His face fell. But all was fine. I guess he doesn’t look to shady when he cleans up and they let him in anyway.

So the number one thing he loved taking were these hybrid shorts. They are swim trunks that look like normal shorts. They really are so cool. Nordstrom has a great selection and that is where he bought his prior to our vacation.

I don’t know about the man in your life, but mine isn’t so big on shopping. Let’s just say that online anything is his jam. If he can add to cart and have it delivered, he is all in. So Nordstrom’s free shipping is pretty much a saving grace in this house. He also bought a pair of the plaid hybrid shorts. I LOVE them. But we all know I am a sucker for plaid.

I mean. How do you turn down plaid. Hehe. And I am pretty sure the guy in the background is wearing a variation of the striped suite below. It’s a great one.

I rounded up some of the traditional swim trunks that caught my eye. We all know I have an addiction to stripes, so I included plenty of those. Many styles have been price matched so you may want to scoop them up before that is gone.

And let’s face it. The hubby was in swim shorts the entire vacation with the exception of dinners out. And I must say, he surprised me with the white linen pants purchase and I LOVE them on him. They are so great. I am looking forward to some beach date nights with him wearing these this summer.
