Today I am excited to share with you four fast ways to freshen up your home for Spring. I am also thrilled to let you know about a new, fun partnership. I am so grateful for the relationships that this blog has afforded me. I was invited to sit down with MSN from Microsoft during my visit at Alt Summit and since that time we have been in close contact developing ways to keep my readers in the know. The new MSN is fast, smart and beautiful and that is exactly the type of projects, ideas, and tips I like to share on this blog. When I partner with a brand, I take it very seriously {as my family and friends will attest to}. I have great respect for my readers and only support what I truly believe in. The all new MSN is fast and inspiring and I hope to bring you four fast and inspiring home décor ideas today! Enjoy. … I have had many conversations with my girlfriends about staying in the know and keeping up on current events when we don’t exactly want the television on in our homes due to big ears on our little ones. It’s just not a good combination. My morning ritual consists of taking the kiddos to school, squeezing in a kick boxing workout and then checking in with MSN while sipping coffee! Oh, and a little Pandora in the background never hurts. If I am out and about, then I just check in with MSN on my iPhone or Surface because it’s perfect for touch. And let’s be honest, the real time trends are addicting. I was given a Surface to experience the new MSN and found that it is super fast and allows me to check in with the top news stories, fun entertainment news, as well as a section for living and decor . Living and décor? Well, hello! You’re speaking my language. In fact, their living page inspired me to start freshening up my home for spring so I am sharing four fast ways you can do the same. I hope you take some inspiration from the little ways we’ve brought Spring into our home this past week. … ………..four fast and fresh ideas … It doesn’t take much to add some pretty spring colors to your décor. With one piece of scrapbook paper and some raffia you can instantly make your clear bottles so much more chic. I often reuse salad dressing bottles or pasta jars so this project is essentially free. The fun patterns make me smile and are a fun way to add color to your table, bathroom, beside, or mantel. … With warmer temps, we are outside more and have the windows thrown open. There is something so welcoming about a fresh pitcher of ice water on the kitchen counter. I sort of feel like I am at a spa in my own home. It’s a quick way to stay healthy, too. The kiddos love having fresh oranges or strawberries added to the water. If it does the trick and they are more likely to drink it, then it’s all good with me. I also find that it makes me pour more glasses for myself. Adding stripes to anything will make your home feel more like spring, too! Who can resist bright stripes! … I am sort of crushing on wrapping paper these days. Can you tell? I wallpapered my daughter’s closet office in it, too! To freshen up your mantel or bookshelves, lighten up with white frames and vivid wrapping paper or scrapbook paper. I gave these frame one quick coat of white spray paint and then placed the paper over the glass. The flowers are attached with just a bit of hot glue. … Fresh fruit is my go to décor item around here. With the beautiful fruits that we have all spring and summer long, it’s easy toss them in a bowl for a pop of color. We also find that we are more apt to grab a piece of fruit when it is so easily accessible. And if you don’t have fresh flowers, the fruit takes the place of your natural and fresh item. I am so ready for spring and the fresh new feeling that comes with it. I hope you found some fast inspiration with these simple ideas. Have you started to decorate for spring? Would love to hear about any quick tips you have on adding spring touches to your home. ………….. Post sponsored by MSN. Designed with fierce reductionism, you can check out the new, faster MSN here. {all opinions are 100% my own. always.}

Lately I have been decorating with fresh fruit a lot….we always have it on hand–and our kitchen is tiny! So why not? I love the freshness it gives!

Great ideas Courtney! This time of year I love to pull out our glass drink dispenser and keep fresh fruit or cucumber water available on the counter.

I had to do a double-take on the framed wrapping paper picture 🙂 I have both of those wrapping papers and I'm loving them! Off to raid my frame stash to get some pretties up on the walls!
