I’m so excited about today. When Melissa from 320 Sycamore invited me to be a part of her annual Favorite Things Blog Hop I was thrilled. First off, because I adore Melissa but also because it totally reminds me of Oprah and her favorite things show. Did you guys used to watch that? It was such a crazy feel good moment each year. I wish I could say I was gifting you with all of these! Maybe next year Melissa can work that out {hehe}. So in no particular order, here are some of my favorite things! One: Hunter Boots A few years back my husband surprised me with Hunter Boots for Christmas. I adore them. I really do. They fit great and are classic. I love wearing them with the cable knit welly inserts. Two: Boxwood Wreaths I tend to have a boxwood wreath on my front door year round. I am crazy about wreaths during the holidays and there is just something just so inviting about a boxwood wreath. I have had two from Target {each lasted about six months} and have heard great things about the ones from here. Three: Ceramic Knives My sister first introduced me to ceramic knives. Life changing! Holy cow. I basically only use the 3” ceramic knife for everything. It is so sharp. It slices through apples beautifully. It really is my go to knife. Four: Mac Love Nectar Lip Gloss This should come as no surprise. I talk about this lip gloss all the time. In fact, I just lost mine in the last two days and am going crazy. I have to go buy another one immediately. It is the perfect, non sticky gloss and looks good with everything. When I want more color, I use a lip pencil and then the gloss. Five: Caramel Cone Ice Cream Best. Ice Cream. Ever. My husband and I have one spoonful of this every night. That is all we need. Honestly, a tiny bit means you savor it even more. You’ll try it and you’ll be hooked for life. Six: All Things Plaid I am crazy about plaid and have been all my life. So the fact that it’s back in style now is even more fun. I love how soft and cozy this scarf is. But truly anything plaid is good in my book.
Kind of cracking up with this collection of items because they look so funny next to one another. But I love them all dearly and had to share! Seven: Pandora App I don’t know what I would do without Pandora! I listen to it nonstop, all day errr day. Ha! In fact, one time I was boarding a plane and thought, “Wow, this plane has really good music on board!” Then I realized it was my darn phone and everyone on board was listening to my Pandora stream. Little embarrassing! Bottom line, I listen to Pandora at home, in the car, and on the airplane! Eight: A White Coat for Winter Love me a white coat. Also no surprise as I have been wearing the same one for years. Mine has black buttons and a belt and has been a staple in my wardrobe forever. This one and this one caught my eye this season. It really makes any outfit look crisp and clean. It’s classic and oh so pretty with a pair of black Hunter Boots. Nine: She Walks in Beauty by Caroline Kennedy This one is especially close to my heart. My dear friend, Catherine, gifted me this book when perhaps I needed it most. Caroline Kennedy beautifully divided the poems into chapters that mimic the stages of life we all go through as women. Here is a quote from the book. “Our mothers are our first teachers, as we teach others the same lessons we learn from them. As a child, when your mother believes in you, you believe in yourself, and when that happens, there is nothing you can’t do. As a mother, that is the greatest gift we can give to a child.” Ten: Striped Pajamas Stripes. Stripes. And more stripes! I can’t tell you how much I adore my children in striped pajamas during the holidays. There is just something so innocent and cozy about them when they race around the house in them or cuddle up next to use for stories. I know they won’t always want to wear them so for now I will enjoy every striped pj wearing moment! Eleven: Avocado Saver We have a funny joke in our family. We always say what food we would marry if we could marry a food. For me, it’s avocados. I LOVE them. My mother in law gave me this and every household should have one. It’s the coolest. After eating half of an avocado you simply plop the other half in this bad boy and it keeps your avocado fresh and perfect. Twelve: Gold Bracelets I wear a collection of gold bracelets every day. It makes any outfit seem more pulled together to add a few accessories. This one is my favorite by far. So my friends, those are a few of my favorite things! If you like Pandora, you need to try Spotify. It's much better in my opinion. You can save particular songs, make playlists, search an already created playlist by what mood your in. Definitely worth a try

Awesome picks, the list has something for everyone. I love that you included a cute jewelry and a beauty product. Mac's lip glosses come in a variety of colors, it's easy to pick some stocking stuffers for a girl friend. Thank you for sharing!
