I can’t believe it’s Friday! These weeks seem to fly by. Everyone says that as your children get older the time goes by faster. It’s so true. Now that they are both in school full time I blink and it’s Friday. Because we are knee deep in a bathroom renovation {I will show you progress photos soon} fall décor will be simple and sweet this year. And to be honest, simple and elegant speaks to me more. I think it’s nice to create a warm and beautiful fall atmosphere with really simple touches. I showed you how I have started to do just that here. But I also wanted to show you five ways that you can bring autumn indoors in the most beautiful and simple of ways. These ladies are so very talented and their homes are oozing with inspiration. craftberry bush Lucy can do no wrong. I had the pleasure of meeting her during the Haven conference in Atlanta. She is one of the most talented women I know and that fact that she is always encouraging my daughter’s artistic talent makes my heart sing. I am in love with how she elegantly added white pumpkins and fall leaves to her hutch. So simple and yet so gorgeous. the chronicles of home Jennifer is another wonderfully talented friend I had the fortune of meeting in Atlanta. She creates not only gorgeous furniture pieces, but has such a pretty eye for design. I just love the long tray of white pumpkins. And the foliage is just the right touch. Are you wanting to run to Trader Joes and scoop up some white pumpkins yet?! the white buffalo styling co. I just discovered Lindsey over at The White Buffalo Styling Co. Do I live under a rock? Inspiration and beauty oozes from this girl. What a talent and what an eye. I love how in the photo above fall is welcomed in by simply hanging pieces from the wardrobe that are warm and cozy. Notice he contrast of the leather jacket with the plush scarf. A simple pinecone and a set of antlers finish off the look. in my own style Are you kidding me with this? While I have covered books in brown paper and even written on them with chalk, I have never thought to create a quote from the stack of books. This is genius. And keep checking back over at In My Own Style because Diane hinted at the fact that this would be a printable you can use! What what?! Amazing. thistlewood farms KariAnne has such an eye for creating beautiful spaces. I love the idea of these two wreaths and a simple fall décor hanging from them. Really so simple and stunning. You could hang pinecones, a bundle of leaves . . . .really just about anything. I hope this has given you some great inspiration to welcome fall in the most simple and elegant of ways. And my philosophy: less is more . . . and less to store! So enjoy this beautiful Friday and the weekend. I will pop in tomorrow with a little Saturday Shopping. Oh, and if you have missed any of my Five Ways posts, you can always check them out below.
