I am so happy that yesterday’s post resonated with so many of you. I will keep doing those since we all seem to love Chip and Joanna so much. Today I am turning towards thoughtful and sweet gifts for someone you love in February. Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14th or all year long, these ideas won’t break the bank and are perfect for any girl in your life. For You, Valentine!
Dainty and feminine pieces are my thing. While I love a chunky piece of jewelry here and there, I tend to gravitate towards light weight, simple pieces. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Nordstrom asked me to share some ideas. Simple and sweet is my idea of a wonderful gift. And if it can be personal and hold meaning all the better. I rounded up some ideas that would be great for any lady in your life.

Swoon. These are all do delicate and beautiful. And they aren’t trendy or something that will quickly go off trend. I think delicate pieces are timeless and you can wear them anywhere. The Kendra Scott ring is the one I am wearing in the first photo. I love that it is delicate enough to wear with anything and to do anything.

The bracelet in the top row is similar to the “sister” bracelet my sister gave me that I am wearing above. I treasure it and this “Endless Knott” bangle is perfect for someone you love. (That’s my daily morning coffee spot).
you’re one in a million
My husband recently gave me this initial pendant necklace and I love it. It got me thinking that it would be the perfect gift to a Valentine. Whether it be a spouse, a sister, a mom or a daughter. The back of it reads, “One in a Million” which I think is just darling. I have been wearing that watch for years and love it.
It’s definitely an everyday piece and I keep it on even when out walking the trails or running errands.

By the way, I adore this top. It’s now 40% off!!!(wearing a small) It’s perfect for putting over a sports bra after working out to run errands. I have been wearing it for morning walks because it’s so dang cold lately. I LOVE how long it is because it covers everything! It also comes in black and purple.
Look at the back of this beautiful pendant. It reads, “Clean Slate.” I remember a dear friend of mine (post college) broke up with a boyfriend. It was a tough break up and I’ll never forget her parents gave her a beautiful open heart necklace to symbolize her keeping her heart open to all that would come. It had such an impact on me. Chances are you know someone who could use a clean slate. A fresh start, a new page. This would be so thoughtful and sweet.
Here is a another sweet Valentine gift idea. I wear some sort of pearl everyday. I was trying to figure out why pearls are so special to me and why I am so drawn to them. I think it’s partly because my favorite color is white and they look classic with everything. I think it is also because my Aunt gave me my first pair of pearl earrings when I was a young girl. I wore them every day for years. I couldn’t believe she gave me real pearls! I thought they were truly gorgeous. And they were.
gifts she will use everyday
Maybe you’re looking to surprise someone else in your life with a special gift she can use everyday. I think Valentine gifts are best when it’s something you can use on a regular basis. Then the person is thinking about you each time they use it. These cute finds from Nordstrom do the trick. The water bottle caught my eye because it has received rave reviews for keeping things cold for 24 hours and warm for 12. My all time favorite lip gloss is Love Nectar! By the way, at $15 this is a great gift idea for teachers. Wrapped in a cute clear bag with that crinkle paper and a big bow. I promise she will love it. Perfect for Valentine’s Day! And the bow ring holder is just do darn adorable. I was given a ring holder when we got engaged, many moons ago, and have used it every day since.

I hope this gives you some inspiration to surprise someone you love with something special either on Valentine’s Day or any day of the year. I think surprise, out-of-the-blue gifts are the very best kind.

I too prefer dainty smaller pieces. You can’t go wrong with Kendra Scott. Timeless and classic. Love the initial necklace. And, we adore our Alex and Ani bracelets.

I have the Swell water bottle and the #1 thing I love about it is that when it is full, it is not super heavy. I have a Camelback glass water bottle that feels like a brick in my bag when it is full.
This is a great option for the initial necklace for someone looking for one a bit dantier. I have it and wear it all of the time.

I’m finding more and more that I love timeless classics. I swoon over the Kendra Scott collection but don’t have any pieces. For Christmas my parents gave me my Great Gramdmothers pearl necklace… There were tears all around opening that! Wonderful post!

I love all of those pieces! I am with you on the pearls- love them and find myself wearing something pearl daily. Even little pearl studs to me can dress up my oldest jeans and t-shirt just enough so I don’t feel completely sloppy. Thanks for these suggestions!

I love your style, Courtney! I think the gold necklace with the round pendant (on right ) in the picture with multiple items titled “Timeless” is so pretty and would love to know the name of it. Could you tell me the name and where I can’t use purchase one? Thanks!
