Is it Friday already? How the heck did that happen? Hope you all had a great week. Today I am inspired by Ken Tate, the talented architect featured in Traditional Home. His goals have always been, “To bring beauty out of ugliness, order out of chaos, and something new out of passion.”
An open floor plan and a home without many hallways makes for an easy flow according to Ken.
This kitchen opens up onto both a front and back porch. Yes, please.
This interior was designed by Ken’s wife.
This might just be one of my favorite homes designed by Ken. Stunning. It’s like Father of the Bride 2.0! To see more of his work you can go here. …………………………. And I am super excited and honored to have our son’s room featured over at Remodelaholic. I am especially thrilled because it’s one of the first blogs I had ever come across. Justin and Cassity are amazing. ………………… h a p p y f r i d a y
that living room is to die for! gotta love design that doesn't date + works fabulously no matter what the season. xCathy
What a beautiful home! I am loving those long tall doors throughout!!
It is so Father of the Bride 2.0. Like many of my other favorite homes–I would undoubtedly spend most of my time in that kitchen. Beautiful.
I'm pretty sure I compare every house like that to the Father of the Bride house! So hilarious. And even though I am more of a modern twist kind of gal, I can definitely appreciate a perfectly done tradition home, this one is gorgeous! Have a great weekend, Courtney!
I love Friday's on your blog, it allows me to day dream and enjoy the wonderful pictures you post.

Great quote! What a beautiful house. That kitchen is amazing and I love that it opens up to the outdoors. Happy weekend, Courtney.
Oh how funny….I totally thought Father of the Bride as soon as I saw the picture of the exterior…only to then see you say the same thing when I continued reading. 🙂
