Friday Eye Candy: Beautiful Neutral Home Tour

March 28, 2014 by Courtney 8 Comments

Happy Friday, friends. I am overjoyed today as my sick little boy is 100% better and is back at school. It’s so hard to see your little ones feeling miserable. And he begged to go to school all week so you can imagine how happy he was to bounce out the door this morning with a smile on his face. Today I have a treat for you. Months ago, I posted some beautiful photos from model homes nearby. I have snaps from two more homes today. I always remembered touring model homes as a child and I still love doing it today. They are inspiring and fun and there are always great ideas to borrow or adapt. Enjoy! Residence one: IMG_2610   IMG_2611 I adore the pendants and the open floor plan. I also can’t get enough of the beams and fan light in the California room below. Perfect. IMG_2613 IMG_2626 Residence Two: This home had me at hello with the gorgeous millwork in the entry way. And the frames hung over it are just so beautiful. hallway   IMG_2638   IMG_2644 IMG_2645 IMG_2631 This guest room was another example of beautiful millwork. What a neat idea to use the millwork shelves as a gallery wall. IMG_2632 IMG_2628 This was a loft space for the kiddos when you first walk up the stairs. IMG_2653 Love the neutral master bedroom and that stunning ceiling. I will have that ceiling one day! IMG_2654 IMG_2667 Always fun to tour such pretty homes and dream! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Stop by tomorrow. . .sharing some of my new favorite finds for Saturday Shopping {it involves shoes!}. If you missed the previous home tours of these gorgeous models you will want to check them out below. Home Tour: Bold Patterns Abound Home Tour: Light and Bright

Beautiful! I visit open houses every single chance I get! The bedroom with the planked wall and shelves is so nice! What a creative idea to display artwork. Thanks for sharing!

Love the tile backsplash in that second home tour! Looks like something I recently purchased for our kitchen, I can't wait to install it.

Love residence 2!! Millwork makes SUCH a difference. Residence 1 is nice also, but the kitchen island looks out of place with it's creamy colored countertop. Maybe the lighting was a little funky, and it looks better in person. 🙂

These are both lovely. I love home touring…even from my recliner. 🙂

I used to drag my mom to model houses all the time when I was a kid to see the decor and design. So fun!

Beautiful homes! I love that kitchen eating area in the first house. That pendant would look great in my house!
