To be honest I don’t even know what day it is. Do you have weeks like that? The children have had minimum days all week which was actually kind of dreamy. It was nice to have them home and let them enjoy their lunch and play before jumping into homework and activities. We really savored the slower pace. But it was a bit frantic with our bathroom renovation. So appreciate having it done for us but it’s always a challenge having people in and out of your home all day. Because I was home quite a bit I was able to get caught up in my blog reading. I was in awe with what some of my blogger friends have been working on. Such great inspiration so I wanted to curate it all here in this week’s edition of Friday Eye Candy. Enjoy! INTERIORS Emily always impresses me with her use of color and pattern. It’s always done in such a tasteful and classic way. I am LOVING how her boys’ room is coming together. How great is this? See more of the details and her painted dresser here. Studio McGee can do no wrong. Everything they touch turns to gold. And did you know they are getting ready to launch their own textile line. Yes, please! I will be the first in line. You won’t believe the before and after of this transformation. See all of the dreamy goodness of this farmhouse nook over at Studio McGee. DIY Squeal. The second I say Megan’s closet with the DIY wallpaper treatment I went bananas. You are going to go crazy over how simple it is and how amazing the impact. Truly. It’s a good one. And who doesn’t love getting to drool over Megan’s closet. Such envy! My dear friend Amy, from Eat. Sleep. Decorate., created this amazing table with her dad. I love this on so many levels. She is expecting twins very soon and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her. Go see more of this gorgeous table on her blog. TREATS I was able to meet Lily when we got together to craft with Sabrina Soto at a Michael’s event. She is so so talented and is always creating the most amazing projects. These Eggless Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwich Bites had me at hello. I mean, come on. So delicious. I finally had the pleasure of meeting Shana from Society Sweets. She created really beautiful cookies for our West Elm Blogger Meet Up. She is so so adorable and I can’t wait to spend more time with here. This week she guest posted over at Pink Peppermint Prints to create this amazing tutorial for the bunny cookies. I think even I can do this after reading the tutorial. Go check it out here. Enjoy the day, my friends. If you are interested in being featured in Friday Eye Candy, send me a link to a recent project. Please write FRIDAY EYE CANDY in the subject line. I love to feature talented and creative women. SHOPPING ALERT: Nordstrom is having is triple reward point days right now.
