Friday Eye Candy: Christmas Vignettes and More

December 13, 2013 by Courtney 7 Comments

Happy Friday, everyone! LOVED seeing your beautiful trees yesterday! Why are these days flying by? I don’t know about you, but I am not ready for Christmas yet. Every year I say I am going to get it all done and every year I am totally wrong about that. Oh, well. I am planning to stay home today to deep clean so we can enjoy the next week of fun activities. And then it’s off to the mall to finish up {fingers crossed} my shopping. Today I am sharing some beautiful Christmas vignettes from both my Pinterest board and from the Christmas Tour of Homes. Holy cow people are creative and talented. I am just in awe at these spaces. I tried to round up a few that are not only beautiful, but not crazy difficult to create or gather inspiration from. If you look closely, maybe it’s just one or two ideas you take away from the whole space. It’s not really about copying a space so don’t feel overwhelmed if they are over the top lovely. Just look for one idea to inspire you in your own home. That is really why I curate my Pinterest boards. Look for the details or the “ah-ha” part of the space rather than the big picture. That helps me from becoming intimidated. So without further ado, here are some very merry spaces of the season. I heart organizing This is gorgeous. I love how Jen used a basket with a Christmas book and snugglies. The pops of red make my heart sing. Christmas fireplace just a girl Cable knit and satin ribbon! Need I say more. I love everything about this. Chris has serious talent. Hi Sugarplum | Christmas Home Tour hi sugarplum Cassie added so much cheer and color by tying a pretty bow and ornaments to a knob. It’s these simple touches that make a home so special and beautiful during the holidays.   Christmas Home tour sand and sisal Can this chalkboard just show up in my home?! I love the wreath and the red box on the floor. I am a big fan of using gifts to decorate. Whether they are real or faux, they add a really pretty feel to the holidays.
