Friday Eye Candy: Your Place | Dazzling Children’s Spaces

June 21, 2013 by Courtney 20 Comments

Eeek! I am so crazy excited about the spaces you all are posting to the Instagram feed. It’s been so much fun drooling over all of the rooms. I really wish I could feature all of them as it’s impossible to choose. I narrowed it down to children’s spaces this week and was beyond impressed with the style and creativity you all have. I hope you enjoy this week’s round up. There are hints  of glamour, whimsy, and classic touches throughout all of them. the hunted interior Wow. Wow. Kristin created the most beautiful room for her daughter. I could easily move into this room myself. She had me at lush, gorgeous fabric and chandelier. hanging with the hewitts What a lucky little lady. Caycee created a dreamy space for her daughter. It’s feminine, soft, and oh so pink. I love the softness of it all and that pouf is so darn cute. gallerywall the crawford clan I am a sucker for a well designed gallery wall. I love everything about this. From the old school rocker to the mix of colors on the wall. What an eye catching room.   chloeroom1 rambling renovators My girl, Jennifer, from Rambling Renovators designed such a sweet space for her daughter Chloe. She and her husband put their magical touch on everything they create. I can just imagine their sweet daughter curled up on that window seat enjoying the day. Oh, and they made that darling kitchen. Just too cute.     the little black door The first thing I noticed about this room {other than how fantastic it is} is the space! Holy cow. I could never fit two beds and that beautiful dresser in our rooms. I am so in love with the mix of color. I gravitate towards the blues, greens and pink so this room really spoke to me. I just wish that dresser would magically appear in my living room. I have a crush on it for sure. dwell by cheryl  I love when homeowners go bold. the great wall treatment, the beautiful bedding and the pops of orange create such a fun space. And as a preppy girl, the monogram gets me every time. There is just something about it! Well done, Cheryl!   athoughtfulplace submission62013 Saudah Saleem Interiors What young lady wouldn’t want to sit down at this desk and create, study or let her imagination run free? I am enamored with the softness of the colors and that darling yellow chair.   the good life Okay. So you all know I have a stripe obsession. I need to live in this room. I am crazy about all of it. And look at the aqua blanket in the teepee. Even that is adorable. This room is precious and so full of life. …………………………………………………….. I think you’ll agree that all the children that get to play, daydream and rest in these rooms are crazy fortunate. I am really so inspired. I still need to finish my daughter’s room and these spaces have given me the nudge I needed. I plan on continuing the instagram search for Friday Eye Candy. You can find me here instagram @athoughtfulplace and in case you missed the Instagram features from last time, you can click below for inspiration Friday Eye Candy: Your Place |Beautiful Bedrooms I wish you all a wonderful weekend. My sister and I have a client install this weekend and are so looking forward to it. It’s one of our favorite clients which makes it all the more fun! Thank you so much for writing this post. I'm in the midst of moving and figuring out how to decorate our next home and more importantly, my son's big boy room. This will be a great reference when I start.
