Friday Eye Candy: East Hampton Summer Home

June 3, 2011 by Courtney 16 Comments

Once again I am drooling over an East Coast Summer Home. I am still shell shocked that these abodes are considered a vacation home. Maybe I will just start calling our house our “summer home” from June through August. Makes perfectly good sense!  I love the crisp white linens and fabrics used in this home coupled with sharp black accents. The hydrangeas just make it all come alive for me. Take a look.

You can see all the juicy details of this fantastic home over at Traditional Home.  We plan to enjoy our “Summer Home” this weekend and lay a little bit lower than last weekend. I don’t know about you all, but Memorial Day weekend wiped us all out! …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. Don’t forget to stop on by next week as I share a round up of simple, quick, and inspiring projects! If you have a link to a quick project you would like included, feel free to pop in at athoughtfulplaceblog@gmail.com to let me know about it. takefive_thumb h a p p y    h a p p y   w e e k e n d

I love that ocean print above the fireplace. We have a few framed prints of my husband surfing in our living room and I think they are my favorite thing about that room.

Ha ha! You are too funny. I will be enjoying my "Summer House" this weekend, too. If I had an actual summer house that was this great, I'm not sure I'd ever leave. Can you imagine what their primary house must look like?

Beautiful! The hydrangeas are gorgeous. The living room is quite striking with the black mirror above the white mantle. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Courtney.
