Happy Friday to you all. I came across this image and had to share. What a glorious spot from which to dream.

via pinterest If you have ever scrolled down to the bottom of my blog you have seen this quote from Henry David Thoreau. It has and continues to be my favorite inspirational message. Amidst the chaos of my day, the spilled cup of milk, the scraped knees, the ever growing weeds, and the endless to-do list . . . I am dedicated to following the wisdom of Thoreau. It isn’t always easy. Most days it is even quite challenging. But I feel so very blessed to have this little blog of mine and for all of you who help to make my creative dreams come to life. …………………….. What about you? Are you headed in the direction of your dreams? Here’s to doing at least one teeny tiny thing today to help you do that. Life is undoubtedly short. Get after it!
Such a good mantra. I am definitely trying each day too! Happy Friday!! xo
Thanks for the encouraging words – happy weekend!
Wonderful quote and I can absolutely image sitting at that desk in Paris…wonderful! Janell
That's one of my favorite quotes as well, and that picture is absolutely gorgeous! Paris is gorgeous, and it would be incredible to look out at that view each day…ahhh 🙂 Have a lovely weekend! xoxo
What a great post Courtney!! Makes me want to go out there and get something productive accomplished today!!
Thanks for the quote. I do try to live my life that way, always moving ahead in the direction of my dreams, even when I'm not sure which dream I'm following.
I love that picture!
That is such a fantastic reminder…it's a lot harder than it sounds! I'm with Lisa, it makes me want to go out and *DO* something! Anything, really (c: And that top picture has me dreaming of travel, *le sigh*
A wonderful quote and reminder. I try my hardest to live by this each day. I have kind of taken on a new attitude and trying to follow my dreams even more so lately! Happy weekend to you, Courtney.
And I'm feeling so blessed to have YOU in my life : ) Thanks for constantly inspiring all of us… both in home decor and with beautiful life-inspiring quotes. Let's just fly across the pond, camp out at that desk and ponder over life while we stare at Paris, shall we?
Can you imagine looking out that window everyday? Wow.
And yes, yes I am going the direction of my dreams, Lord willing! Relying on Him, that's for sure. 🙂
That view would be ridiculous! I cannot even imagine looking at that everyday! Hmmm…I do love my view (and I am thankful for it) but the eiffel tower–hard to beat. 🙂 I love that quote by Thoreau. It makes me want to go out and do something–not just dream it. Thanks for posting.
Very sweet.
I'm very thankful for the friends that I've made through blogging as well.
That quote is definitely a nice reminder! And that view is simply breathtaking!
