Happy Friday! I am excited to spend time with my family this weekend and to honor my own mom. My sister and I are even sneaking away for a few hours on Saturday for a boat cruise! Sunday will include a dinner over at our house so I rounded up some really beautiful tables in honor of the event. You never know when you might see a little idea here or there that you can adopt to use in your own home. They are all quite lovely.

I am looking forward to hosting a Mother’s Day dinner here on Sunday. If you follow me on instagram {@athoughtfulplace} you have seen a sneak peak of my table. I ordered the napkins that were on clearance from Anthropologie and they will be making their debut on Sunday. As you can see, I am not shying away from color! You can always snoop around my “entertaining” link under my header at the top of the blog. I love to entertain and you’ll see a round up of some of our parties there. And to all of my readers that are mothers, I truly send you a virtual hug and hope that you are able to take a moment out this weekend just for yourself. We all work around the clock and deserve to savor peace and quiet now and again. No matter how you spend the day, I know we all give thanks for the sweet children in our lives {whether little or big}. And to my own mom, I love you dearly. Looking forward to honoring you on Sunday.

Love the napkins. I need to make more of an effort not to use paper napkins. I think if I bought these I would probably not forget to use them.
