Friday Eye Candy: A Traditional Apartment

April 20, 2012 by Courtney 16 Comments

This St. Petersburg apartment is one of the most charming spaces I have ever seen. The use of a soft and subtle color palette allows the details, lighting fixtures, and mix of textures really shine. I am especially enamored with the master bedroom. It is just beautiful. The fleur-de-lis wallpaper is gorgeous. Enjoy this week’s cozy and beautiful eye candy. In the master bedroom suite, feminine fleur-de-lis wallpaper in powder blue freshens cream furniture and trims, along with matching blue bedcover and sofa accent cushions, to tie the whole scheme together from top to toe. The ornate decadence continues across the ceiling with a duo of shaded chandeliers for a cozy glow. Blue wallpaper Taupe Brown curtains bedroom If you do not want to commit to an entire room of wallpaper, or if the price tag is a turn off, consider doing just a focal wall. Using a wood trim to frame it out makes such a great look. Blue Taupe Brown Traditional Bedroom Taditional feminine hallway dressing room white traditional kitchen diner White traditional bathroom roll top bath Every single room boasts a piece of candy with the lighting choices. All so pretty. And did you see the clock above the cooktop. Love. {all images from Home-Designing.com} …………………………………. Happy weekend to you! Our daughter’s bake shoppe birthday party is tomorrow morning. You can see invites and aprons we made here and here. I will be back next week to recap the party. Still hard to believe my little girl is turning six! Enjoy your weekend.

Every room is so beautiful especially the master bedroom. I love the seating area in the bedroom. At a glance, it looks like a built-in but it's obviously not. Great find, Courtney!

Happy 6th birthday to your little girl! I hope she has a blast tomorrow!

    Have a good weekend!

Wow! the color choices are so serene and peaceful. It's the kind of place that needs very little in the way of splashes of color. LOVE the hallway and the clock in the kitchen.
    Happy weekend from Spain x
