I am going to try very hard to keep this short and sweet. This could easily turn into a long winded sappy love song but instead I just want to say thank you. I can’t begin to express how much this blog means to me and that so many of you have been loyal readers since the beginning. Looking back it’s clear that my children have grown, family has changed and life has continued to dazzle and challenge me. Overall it's your style that I love the most weather that's in a decorating post (love those striped walls) or a fashion post. I love your entertainment and decorating posts. I love to have parties and used your art table idea for a bridal shower. Instead of traditional guest/advice book I put runners on the tables and had markers and colored pencils out for the guests to write notes to the bride. It was a huge hit and the bride loved it. I found you when researching organizing and fell in love with your kitchen! From there it went to your organized pantry, your striped curtains, which I never did do, but still dream of it, to the striped bathroom on Casey Grace design. My kids still love their chocolate covered Joe Joe's and I have a scar on my finger from making those colorful ornament topiaries two Christmases ago. All worth it! My pantry is still organized too! Dear Courtney, I’m not sure your giveaway is open to international readers but you never know ! I’ve told you already how much I love all sections in your blog because of the enthusiasm and warmth you put in everything you write. I’ve been thinking again and I’ve realized that in fact, you’re a kind of role-model!!!! Don’t blush! This year I’ve taken up studying again to progress in my job, and at 34 with 2 little ones it’s hard to spend my days alone at home-no more colleagues to chat to, not much social life, just a lot of books to read!!! So I guess you remind me that “real life” can be fun and fulfilling, and that it’ll come back for me too. I love design and cooking and fashion and DIY and entertaining, just like you, and I love the way you present them in an easy-going kind of way. And the icing on the cake are your posts on life and relationship-they get me every time! You have a lovely way to say emotional things without sounding soppy. It’s only fair if you feel happy about people’s nice comments because you give readers happiness and inspiration every day and that’s precious.

You inspire me! My favorite part of your blog is the inspiration you bring me…especially in the area of home decor. Sometimes that inspiration goes beyond reason…lol! Here is an example – I LOVED your cozy Christmas corner with the HG pillows. I immediately dropped what I was doing and ran to HG. I spent a leisurely hour or more choosing between pillows and afghans. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and asked a sweet saleslady if she would check in the back for your pillow with the whispy wreath. Do you know that feeling when your heart is full b/c you are excited to get home and put it all together? Then while driving home it hit me…for the first time in my life, I am not even decorating for Christmas this year!! We move on Dec 13 and then three days later I fly out of state until early January!! How does a person forget something like that?? That is how inspirational your posts are for me!
