We are just wrapping up an amazing vacation to Big Bear Lake with wonderful friends. We go each year with two other families. Four days of being unplugged, talking, playing, boating, relaxing, and reminiscing. So good for the soul. There is nothing more precious than uninterrupted time with my babies. And watching them experience new things is what rejuvenates me the most. I also get a kick out of the fact that my daughter sports ruffles and a cheetah print fedora to go fishing. Just getting back into town and will be back tomorrow with a fun little project. I hope your weekend was relaxing and restful as well.

What a wonderful time that must have been. It seems I remember this trip last year? Your kiddos are so cute and yes, there is something special about fishing in ruffles ;).

Looks like a great getaway! Where do you stay in Big Bear? I've been thinking about planning a quick trip up there for our little family. Any recommendations on lodging?!?! ~gina

Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing your memories. Brings to mind the first time my SIL took my oldest grandson fishing (at about age 3). The boy caught a fish before his dad did! What a great memory that is for him!
