How is everyone? I sure hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We have savored the down time and relaxing with family. We were so thankful to have my sister and her family back from Singapore. The cousins were attached at the hip. Did any of you happen to see the Lip Sync Battle with Jimmy Fallon and Emma Stone? It was so inspiring that our family had the first annual sync off! Hilarous. It will be a Christmas staple from now on. In style news, there is a major sale going on that I thought I should share. It’s the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale and so many finds are 50% off.

My sweet family gave me this jacket for Christmas. I had been eyeing it forever. It is 50% off and so so comfortable. I have worn it three days straight. It is so much more comfortable that a normal jean jacket because of the knit sleeves. I am wearing a size small in the indie wash. The leggings are on sale, too. I also noticed that the chevron necklace I wear all the time is now $8.
I am not a huge after Christmas shopper but I did pick up a couple of things with a gift card I was given. Here are some great buys if you are snooping around the sales!
I am a sucker for a great pair of nude heels. I LOVE these. If you do not have a pair of nude heels these could make a great addition to your wardrobe. I think I have had mine for four or five years!

I’ve had my eye on this coat forever and never added it to my cart. The $28.90 price tag put me over the edge and I bought the oxblood color. I just love that red wine color with jeans. Cute look and not everyone will have that color. I did order a large as it says it runs small.

True story. I was putting clothes away in our closet and I looked down and my husband’s jeans and there is a huge hole in them. Huh?! He owns two pairs and now one is shot. There are many that are 50% off right now which makes them a great deal. There are some great buys under $50 shown below.

Some of the tried and true pieces we love for the children are on sale. And I typically pick up a pair of flats for my daughter for $25 during this sale. Perfect timing as we were walking into church on Christmas and she sweetly said, “Mom. Do you think I can have new shoes. My toes are squished.” Umm. Yes. I had no idea she had out grown them. Poor girl had some sore feet. It’s also a good time to replace the Converse for the kids. They are $20 and still the only shoe my daughter will wear to school.

You look adorable in your new jacket! My mom, my sister and I would get up super early the day after Christmas and hit the sales, too! I don’t miss the getting up early part but I do miss the special times we spent together. I haven’t picked up anything yet with the sales but am eyeng those loafers you shared. I could use a cute pair of flats!
I bought that same coat during a Black Friday sale and LOVE it. Mine is black but I bet the oxblood color is beautiful!
