It’s that time when Nordstrom puts current styles on sale for 40% off. Yes, please. It’s a great time to treat yourself to things that you may have had your eye on but didn’t want to pay full price. I adore these draw string pants. So comfy. My exact stripe is not on sale, but the ones above are so similar and 40% off. They do run big so size down. And a striped tee (wearing below $14)  and distressed denim are always classic and cute for summer. Also spotted these cute work out pants. Darling.

I really do love the comfy pants with Converse. Easy for running errands or running around town with the children. And seeing as though I spend most of my time as a taxi driver, it is key to be comfortable.

This striped tote also comes in pink and red. Perfect for summer and great for a gift, too. I often do end of the year teacher gifts that include a tote and beach towel. This would work really well. And I really love this button down shirt. I am not loving it buttoned to the top, but style that unbuttoned with distressed jeans or shorts and it’s super cute. Also really a great look with white jeans. Classic and will never go out of style.

We lost a friend and we are off to celebrate his life. He was an influential part of my husband’s career and his friendship and support will be missed. Sending up prayers to his wife and children. Hug your friends and family close. Life is fleeting.
