I am taking a break from Friday Eye Candy today to wish my amazing husband a happy birthday. We will spend the weekend celebrating. I typically don’t get crazy personal on the blog, but this man deserves a post! He was the first to read this blog and continues to read it every single day. Ryan is the best person I know. I have always told him that and I still believe that after knowing him for almost eleven years. He makes me want to be a better person.

We have been through quite a lot in the years we have been together. Through it all, we have held hands and forged ahead as a team. I am so very proud of all that Ryan has accomplished and the amazing father and husband he is. I know that I am very lucky. This man helps me every single day without me asking. He is extremely present in our babies’ lives and he puts us first. I married my best friend and my biggest support. He propels me to do things I never thought I could.

On top of it all, he makes me laugh until my cheeks hurt. I always steal his jokes. He is kind and intelligent. Oh, and I think he is a total babe. 
And the way that he looked at our first little nugget the very first time he held her is the way he still looks at all of us. I am so very fortunate and so very grateful. I love you, babe. You make everything in this world so much brighter. happy birthday {I didn’t mention your age. You’re welcome}

And I couldn't be prouder of my wonderful son. He is just as Courtney described and always has been such a thoughtful, kind, encouraging person. I'm so happy that Courtney is in his life and has given him (us) such a beautiful family. Wish I were there to celebrate, but it won't be long now….. 🙂

That is honestly one of the sweetest posts about a spouse that I've ever read (without being too gushy and weird, I'm not a fan of those) but truly setting a standard for hubbies everywhere!
