Can you even believe that it is already Labor Day?! I’ve been focusing on spending some time with my kids lately, soaking up our last moments of summer before school starts back up and fall is upon us! Traditionally, Labor Day is the last big summer hurrah, so I made this weekend a lot of fun for the kiddos. I pulled a few Labor Day inspired ideas to help us celebrate big! I am head over heels for these paper invites, decorations and party favors. You can find a tutorial to make all of them here. That toilet paper roll turned corn-on-the-cob favor? Precious!

Of course, many of us will be outdoors this weekend playing games and relaxing by the pool.

So fun- the food especially! Can you believe I actually have to do some work on Labor Day- meeting with a client at 10, but only for a few hours. I did create a fall mantle yesterday though- putting on the finishing touches later today!

The hamburger cupcakes are so cute! I love the lifesaver tied on the napkins too! It's raining here – so no pool for us 🙁 but we're enjoying the day anyway!
What fun ideas! We are working on the basement. Both girls will be home later, so it's a one shot deal getting them to make decisions on what they truly want to keep!! LOL Hugs those little ones tight…time is flying by!
