We all know I have a slight {or not so slight} obsession with getting organized. For me, it is simply that it makes life so much easier and more enjoyable. I am not a huge fan of clutter so the more I can cut down on it the better. This is where you all come in. I was blown away with the projects you all shared in the last link party and am in full party prep mode for the next one. So get those closets, drawers, bathrooms, pantries, schoolwork, desks. . . . ready to show off. It can be anything that you have organized in a way that is not only functioning but pretty and readers will be inspired to follow suit. It can be simple as well. Easier for us to replicate! Why is it called keep C.A.L.M. and organize on? When I organize anything in my house I use my C.A.L.M. method. For me it is faster and it prevents me from freaking out mid way through the project when it looks so much worse than it did to begin with. You know what I am talking about. Like when you clean out your closet and suddenly your entire room is covered in heaps of clothing. With C.A.L.M. I know there is light at the end of the tunnel.
C = Clear Out {pull everything out of your space} A = Assign a spot for everything {trash, keep, take to another room, etc.} L = Label everything after sorting it. If you are doing a toy closet {books, balls, blocks, airplanes, cars, etc.} M = Maintain the area by doing random clean ups. Things get messy. That is life. Stay on top of it before it’s another long project on your to-do list. In five minutes you can get things back into their assigned spot.
I was going to link up some fun organizational projects I have seen in blogland this week but I don’t want to ruin the surprise and hoping they will all pop over and strut their stuff next week for our link party. Looking forward to seeing all that you have done. In the meantime, here are a few eye candy images from good ole’ Martha Stewart. She never lets us down. You are cordially invited to the Link Party #2 Thursday October 11th Get those spaces organized and come show them off! I will feature the best of the best the following week. See you at the party. For more organization ideas you can click here for projects I have done. Enjoy your day.

I am not a fan of clutter either and it seems the older I get I crave organization and simplicity more and more. I'm re-organizing our kitchen now and it feels so refreshing.

the door with the long handle holding the lids is such a cool idea. Now the letters CALM I will remember that always and hope to work on my closet this weekend.
