It’s no secret the holiday are on my mind. Part of it is being a blogger and the fact that I have a Christmas tree in my living room right now. It will come down after I shoot it, but for the first year in a long time, putting up the tree in October is actually making me wish the holidays were even closer. Then I remembered that I don’t want to wish these next three months away. They are by far my favorite of the year and I plan to savor them. I’ll be sharing tips on getting a jump on all the hustle and bustle and today wanted to let you know that a holiday favorite of mine are back in stock this year. So here is a little holiday preview involving all things sparkly!
Sparkly Fun
Do any of you remember these from last year? Girls! I know gold glittery leggings sound bananas and a bit disco but let me tell you, they rock. They are by far the most comfortable pants in my closet. They are lined with a really soft pink fabric and you feel like you are wearing pajamas. I was over the moon when I asked if they were coming back and they let me know they were just listed. They sold out in a hot minute last year. You can find the leggings listed under pants and are only $42.

They boast more of a copper/champagne tone so they are not that crazy bright gold that might look a bit too much. When I wore these, almost every woman stopped me and asked me where to find them. I wore them throughout the holidays and also for New Year’s. I think pairing them with a conservative soft creamy sweater keeps the look pretty and feminine. This ruffled sweater would look awesome with anything. The necklace helps to unify the look and adds some glam up top.

For this date night I paired the look with a black bag but you could keep it all monochromatic and carry a lighter clutch, too. This leggings also look really cute with just a white t-shirt. It creates a really cool contrast and keeps it chic and fun.

I love every piece above. The sweet white and gold dress is for the little ones. Darling. If you are not quite up for a sequin pair of leggings or dress, the sweater dress paired with a shimmering pair of heels or handbag is a beautiful look for the holidays.

THE DREAM TREE
Now off to work on my Dream Tree. I baked for five hours yesterday and it became ever more clear that my talents do not lie in baking. At all. It was laughable how many times I had to roll out the dough and recut cookies. My hat is off to all of you who find your zen while baking. Very envious.

I am so proud of you for finishing your cookies last night!! You’ve inspired me to make cut out cookies this year. They are fun but time consuming so I applaud you. I try so hard to savor each and every day and stay in the present but I have been thinking about Christmas for over a month! My favorite time of the year as well. I bought those leggings last year when you shared them and love them! Might grab a pair for my girlfriend’s birthday. They are super soft and a beautiful color.
