Holiday Shopping Guide | For Him

Today’s post is special to me because I was able to take some time to really reflect on how much my husband means to me. It was fun looking back at past photos. He wins the award for going out of his way to do kind things for me. It’s no secret that we really try very hard to take the time to focus on our relationship and we carve out time each day to spend with one another. It’s an effort that we find super worth it. At Christmas time, I love figuring out fun things to give him. I usually do a collection of smaller items rather than one large one. In fact, the leather journal above has been one of Ryan’s favorite gifts. I gave him one two years ago and he loves it. We are both really big on writing down goals and aspirations. Pen to paper has power and he uses his for logging both personal and business goals. I also mentioned to him that one day he could pass it on to our son, so be sure to write down any kernels of wisdom that would be special for Grady to read one day. Nordstrom has a nice collection of gifts for a great price, too. Oh, the dry fit shirts are some of his favorite. The beer flight set is really fun. We threw a beer tasting party a couple of years ago and it was one of our favorite to date. It’s a nice set to have during the holidays if you like to have friends over. Ryan is also a big fan of the trim fit button down shirts. He is a broad guy and sometimes shirt make him look bigger than he is. The trim fit shirts taper on the sides and fit nicely around the waist. They give a more tailored appearance. It took us years to figure that out, by the way. I adore this man and the father he is. I wish I could give him the world for Christmas. I know my son will grow up to be a great man if he just follows in his daddy’s footsteps.
