Friyay!!!!! I’m over the moon that the school week is wrapping up and family time is about to kick in. Our kiddos have next week off from school so we are ready to kick the alarm clock to the curb and stay in pajamas for much too long. Turning to interior news, I miss putting together spaces for clients so I had the best time dreaming up an office space that we are hoping to one day see in our own home. There is a major furniture sale going on so it’s time to take advantage of the discount.

What do you think? We want the shared space to be warm, sophisticated and comfortable. It’s not a huge space but enough for a desk and a small sitting area.
The desk is 40% off and I am all over that. My sister actually has this desk and adores it so her endorsement is good enough for me. I want to layer in texture, warm color and greenery. I always read the reviews of rugs very carefully. This one earns excellent reviews and reads brighter in person. Be sure to always look at the photos that are posted on the reviews. They often depict the colors more realistically. The lamp had me at hello. GORGEOUS and enough of a masculine feel to make it work for both of us. I’m still looking for a desk chair. Haven’t found one we love yet. I will keep you posted on our progress. We already have this chair for the seating area so that’s a step in the right direction!

Love this Courtney. Hubby will be working from home from now on. And while we have an office (and another craft room with a desk), both are really white and more feminine. So we’ll be making some changes soon.
