November 1, 2011 by Courtney 14 Comments

It’s here! It’s here! The beautiful House of Fifty holiday issue has arrived. It’s truly stunning. You’ll want to grab a hot cup of tea or a yummy glass of wine and settle in with this one. Janell Beals, founding editor,  put together a beautiful collection of articles which include the art of a snapping a great photo, stress free gift giving guides, scrumptious recipes, interviews with small business owners, charitable giving ideas, inspiring blogs and even ways to take care of yourself. It’s really an uplifting issue with an emphasis on giving to others. issue preview   I am honored to be a part of the House of Fifty team and have two articles in the holiday issue. Be sure to check out my ideas for simple, but personal holiday hostess gifts on page 84 as well as Countdown to Christmas {The Modern Advent Calendar} on page 152. Both have printables that you can use this holiday season. h a p p y   h o l i d a y s click here to enjoy reading!

Courtney, your description totally made me want to settle down with that cup of tea (or wine…but it's way too early in the morning for that…haha!) and read right now! I am so impressed at your skill and creativity all the time. You bring us the best stuff. It's an honor to read your blog and I can't wait to check out your articles. I am prepared to be amazed. 😉

I'm back, but where to begin? Oh my goodness! Do you KNOW how fabulous that was? I need to keep you around! Not only were your articles very well written, the information was so practical and fabulous at the same time…making it pretty much perfect. I am committing to try your ideas. My kids would LOVE this. (How cute are those matchboxes?) The entire magazine (which I certainly haven't finished reading yet, but will) looks fantastic. Loved the opening letter by Janell.

Thank you so much for sharing it with us! I'm so excited to implement so many great ideas this year! What a wonderful publication!
