How Do I Like My Lulu & Georgia Rug?

August 27, 2014 by Courtney 9 Comments

Popping in today to answer the most frequently asked question as of late. How do I like my Belen Rug from Lulu & Georgia?I receive emails all the time asking so I thought I would do a bit of a review and give me thoughts. I LOVE IT. I wake up each morning so excited to see it. That’s not an exaggeration, albeit a bit odd! It think what people want to know is if it’s soft and whether or not it sheds. Here is a look at it in our room. luluandgeorgijeans luluheels belen rug | heels master2 The rug is extremely soft and feels great. It does not shed. That is key as I normally return rug after rug because I can’t handle the shedding. To be honest {and no, L & G did not ask me to do this post!}, I think it’s a hidden gem that should be used in more designs. It’s such a beautiful neutral rug. Now keep in mind it’s in my bedroom where we do not wear shoes. I would be hesitant to put it in a family room if you are in and out with dirty shoes as it is very light.  But so beautiful for a formal living room, bedroom, or even a nursery. You can get 25% off of everything over at Lulu & Georgia from August 29th -September 1. That’s a great sale. This pink rug caught my eye. It’s gorgeous.   Sale code starting Friday: LABORDAY25 Hope that answers your questions about my rug. Two thumbs up and five stars from me! I’ll be back tomorrow with day two of our San Francisco trip! Still sorting all of the photos! *affiliate links used

I love this rug! I think it is one of the prettiest rugs I've seen. It's elegant. We're getting ready to redo our master bedroom and I keep thinking about this rug, ever since you posted it awhile back. We're the same…we don't wear shoes in the bedroom of house but we do have pets so I need to consider that.

Very nice! Our living room rug sheds like crazy. I think it has increased the number of dust bunnies in our house by ten fold. I have to empty the vacuum cleaner after vacuuming just HALF of the 8×10 rug. Seriously. I've read rug reviews before where people complained about shedding, and I honestly thought they were nuts. SO not nuts. 🙂 I like the look of my rug, but the shedding is bad. Anyway… I'm glad you like your bedroom rug! 🙂

This carpet is beautiful, I love the color. It seems to add a little feminine touch to the bedroom and creates a nice contrast against the gray wallpaper. Nice piece.
